Since starting my career in travel in 2012, I have built my reputation on exceptional service, trusted relationships, and a genuine passion for helping people explore the world. After six successful years with Flight Centre, I transitioned into the independent travel sector, where I have continued to grow my expertise while embracing the ever-evolving technology and opportunities within the travel industry.

Having travelled to 28 countries, I understand firsthand the excitement, inspiration and life-changing experiences that travel can bring. Whether planning a luxury holiday, a family adventure, a honeymoon, or managing complex business travel requirements, I approach every itinerary with the same level of care and attention to detail as if it were my own.

For me, travel has always been about people. I truly care about my clients and will always go beyond what is expected to ensure every journey is seamless, memorable and tailored to their unique needs. Building long-term personal relationships based on trust, reliability and exceptional service is at the heart of everything I do.

As a successful businesswoman, wife and mother, I understand the value of time, the importance of meaningful experiences, and the confidence that comes from knowing every detail has been taken care of. Meet Wendy Smit

Executive Assistant

My professional journey has always been closely connected to tourism, travel and supporting people. I began my career at Nelson Mandela University’s Department of Tourism, where I spent four years developing a strong foundation in administration, organisation and stakeholder support. From there, I moved into the travel industry, where I have continued to grow my experience and discover just how much I enjoy helping people and making things happen behind the scenes.

As an Executive Assistant, I take pride in being organised, approachable and dependable. I enjoy creating structure, staying one step ahead and taking care of the details so that the people I support can focus on what matters most.

I am also a wife and a mother, and I genuinely enjoy being there for others. Whether I’m supporting an executive, colleague, client or business partner, I find real fulfilment in making someone’s day a little easier and helping them achieve their goals.

For me, it’s not just about getting tasks done. It’s about building trusted relationships, understanding what people need and providing support they can rely on.
