Erika has been our travel consultant for more than a decade but we recently understood once again the practical and financial value of her incredible knowledge and experience. She booked a very complicated trip for us where we would be away for more than three months. Our insurance for such a long period came to a justifiably hefty amount. She then suggested that we may consider shortening our trip by only one day, resulting in a savings of R8000 on our insurance as a result of how travel insurance periods are structured. This, in our opinion, goes beyond the scope of what travel consultants usually provide to their clients.
